Compassion Integration Retreat
with Buddhist monk and certified CCT © trainer Lobsang Norbu
ONLY for participants who have previously completed the Compassion Cultivation Training©, which is an 8-week training designed by acclaimed thought leader Thupten Jinpa with top psychologists and neurologists for Stanford University and is part of the curriculum of Maitreya Instituut.
Compassion isn't heroic. It's human and rooted in science.
It is an innate quality that offers the possibility of responding to suffering with understanding, patience and kindness rather than fear, anger, and repulsion.
While compassion is an inherent quality, we all possess, psychology, neuroscience and clinical medicine show that it is an orientation and skill that can be cultivated and strengthened to increase the well-being of individuals, communities, and society.
“A compassionate mind is a resilient mind, not a weak one.”
Introduction of the retreat
During this retreat, you’ll deepen your experiential understanding of what compassion is, and how you can make it a guiding principle and active force in your everyday life. Which will support you in choosing to live with more meaning, purpose and joy.
CCT combines traditional contemplative practices with contemporary psychology and scientific research to help you lead a more compassionate life. Through instruction, meditation, mindfulness, and discussions, your experience of compassion, empathy, and kindness will deepen so it can transform your life and interactions with others.
Over the two days, Norbu will guide you in bringing a conscious, intentional, and systematic approach to compassion, into your meditations and daily experiences.

Donation
Dāna (generosity) is one of the cornerstones of the Buddhist path. By virtue of their generosity, the Buddha and the ordained sangha offer us the teachings, and in exchange, the lay community supports Dharma centers and the monastic community. This interdependence is essential for us to share the Dharma and continue our work to benefit all sentient beings. With your donation we support our teachers in their cost of living and we uphold our dharma center, which is managed entirely by volunteers.
The suggested donation for this weekend retreat €75. For students and people with low income, the suggested donation is €60. Please send us an email if you'd like to make use of the second option.
