Ven. Yangdzom

Venerable Yangdzom (Koosje van der Kolk) has been involved with the Maitreya Institute since 1984 and has held various roles, including editing the Maitreya Magazine, the prayer book, and books from the Maitreya Publishing House. She organizes the 5 monthly pujas held at the Maitreya Institute and the annual Nyung Nä. She also organizes the Dying Consultants Working Group. Since 1998, she has been leading a meditation session for the general public every Tuesday evening, attended by 6 to 18 people. She was ordained as a Buddhist nun in July 2022. Go back
